It’s no coincidence that this edition of the Secret Salon is taking place on the date when people are generally moving rhythmically into May. With this special edition, we are doubling the usual line-up of our series for daring electronic music, moving the floor to the hall of the Mousonturm and thus creating space for all people for whom the usual range of dance music events on this day in this city seems too generic and soporific. In the course of this, we are cooperating with the bustling label and Frankfurt underground event empire Ichi Ichi.

DJ Marcelle could be described as the punk icon of club music. And has been for several decades now. With 3 turntables, operated more as an instrument than a pure tool, the Dutchwoman mixes sounds and styles into a mind-expanding concoction that is never predictable, but always somehow danceable.

After Paris-based DJ Lycox brought the Mousonturm venue to overflowing with his set last year, today he will once again fill us with his independent mix of Afro-house, polyrhythms and contemporary electronics.
