Sorgende Städte

  • Dialogue

How can municipal providers, neighbours and city politicians work together to develop care structures that are located close to people’s homes? How can infrastructures be democratically restructured in order to establish a city politics that prioritises the needs of care? Argentine anthropologist Rita Segato and Katja Kipping will talk with members of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation’s “Sorgende Städte” (“Caring Cities”) project about how care work can be organised collectively at a local level as well as how feminist organising plays a role in this process.
