Global perspectives and decolonization

One of the key elements defining the activities of BIPH alliance members is their goal of working together with artists and institutions across international borders. This kind of cooperation makes it possible to exchange ideas and cultivate artistic diversity in an effective and sustainable manner while also fostering the development of new forms and practices of investigation. The various projects and thematic objectives involved in these collaborations have repeatedly sought to explore and examine colonial legacies and post-colonial structures. One particular area of focus in this realm seeks to reveal and ultimately transcend those racist thought patterns and evaluation mechanisms that continue to influence political debate and discourse in society today.
