TRANS-CULTURAL NEIGHBOURHOODS
Global migration – and the large gap between the global north and the global south that often causes this migration – prompts a number of different questions to arise with regard to decolonisation practices and the reordering of local communities. The idea behind this key theme is to approach the city as a reference system. The focus here is also on a direct exchange between the production houses themselves and various local communities. What kinds of strategies do artists use in cooperation with members of local communities, for example, to stand up to the challenges posed by current urban developments? The ultimate goal is to work together to develop new positions for dialogue, spaces for action and platforms for trans-cultural exchange.
