TRANS-CULTURAL NEIGHBOURHOODS
This thematic focus is centered on the city as a reference system and direct exchange with various local initiatives. The aim is to explore urban realities and visions in a targeted manner. As part of this, the production houses will make their location and connection with the local communities visible by artistically addressing the challenges of current urban developments. This includes joint work processes with local actors as well as the development of common questions and dialog positions in order to create and test new possibilities and spaces – including virtual ones – for encounters. New platforms for transcultural exchange are constantly emerging from this interrelationship.
