TRANSTRONICA is back with SALON QUEERTRONIQUE, the club project by Hamburg DJ and curator Saeleen Bouvar, which has been providing trans* visibility behind the decks for almost seven years. “Serving Cunt”, a term used by black trans* females, stands for Trans*Female Empowerment. It originates from the ballroom scene founded by a trans* woman and creates a counterpoint to everyday discrimination. “She is serving cunt” is the highest recognition and empowerment of femininity, especially for femme queens. With the German equivalent “Cuntenservice” the salon is opening for its eighth edition. Expect a firework display of gender and genre fluidity, always served with a good dose of cuntness.
