Sven van Thom himself tried out how to write a children’s song for the first time in 2017. The result, “Mein neuer Bruder”, was well received – on “Unter meinem Bett 3”. Since then, the Berlin multi-instrumentalist, who lives with his family in the Taunus region, has been a frequent guest on the popular sampler series as well as on the TV show “SingAlarm” (KiKa/ZDF). His multi-award-winning children’s song debut “Tanz den Spatz” was released in 2018, followed by the catchy tune “Nicht schon wieder an die Ostsee”, the crazy flatulence battlerap “Mein Pups” and, of course, the title track, to which van Thom invented his own dance. The album “Spuckepack” followed in 2021 and the German Children’s Song Award in 2023.

Visitors young and old to mouson mini music can expect original and highly entertaining songs between pop, indie rock and hip-hop that invite them to laugh, join in and be amazed – for example, when exotic instruments such as the theremin and omnichord come into play. Sven van Thom also creates a song together with the audience, supported by his stage accomplice Dominik Merscheid, creating more than just a concert experience: an interactive spectacle that celebrates and encourages creativity!
